Welcome! Your new dual aligned plan includes coverage for your Medicare and Medicaid benefits. Now, you will only have one plan to take advantage of all your benefits.

What Does My Plan Cover? 

Your plan covers doctors’ visits, hospital stays, and prescription drug coverage. You also have extra benefits to take care of your whole health.  

Extra Benefits

  • Your plan includes transportation, dental, vision, and hearing coverage.
  • The Wellcare Spendables card gives you dollars to use on over-the-counter items.
  • The fitness benefit covers the cost of a gym or fitness classes.
  • You can also earn rewards by taking care of your health.

Welcome Call

  • We’ll call you to discuss your new plan.
  • During this time, we will explain your benefits. We can also answer any questions you have.
  • We will also make sure you have received your materials and Member ID card.

Your Plan Materials

We will mail you a member ID card and printed information  about your plan. Don’t worry if these items haven’t arrived yet. They are on the way.  

  • Member ID Card:  Your member ID card is the key to getting the care you need. You will have one member ID card for your plan. Carry it with you and provide it any time you get care. 
    • You can view or print your digital card anytime in your secure member portal
    • Your coverage starts on the effective date listed on your card.
  • Welcome Kit: Your Welcome Kit is a print guide that explains your plan and how to use your benefits. 
  • Wellcare Spendables® Card: Your plan includes a Wellcare Spendables benefit. If your plan has Spendables, your card will arrive in a white and teal envelope. 
    • You can use the card to buy pre-approved over-the-counter items
    • You can also pay for some dental, vision and hearing expenses.  
    • You must activate the card before you use it. Activate using the instructions that come with the card.
  • Benefit Snapshot: This is a quick overview of your plan’s key benefits.

  

How Can I Care When I Need It?

Your Primary Care Provider (PCP) 

  • Your PCP is your go-to doctor for when you need care. You can choose or change your PCP anytime.  
  • We recommend scheduling your annual preventive visit with your PCP within your first [90] days.  
  • If you need to find a PCP, we can help you during your Welcome Call. You can also use the Find a Provider tool to find a provider near you.

  • Get Care from Home with Telehealth
    • You can get care from the comfort of home through telehealth. With your smart phone, iPad, or computer, you can talk with a doctor over a video call.  
    • This is a great option if you have trouble getting to the doctor in person.  
    • Ask your doctor if they offer telehealth visits. 
    • You can also connect with a doctor through our telehealth partners like Teladoc, Brightside Health, and Great Speech.

    Transportation

    • Your plan includes transportation benefits. We will provide a ride for you to get medical care. All you have to do is call to schedule a ride.

Where Can I Find Plan Information?

Create Your Member Portal Account

  • The secure member portal is a website where you can find your health plan information.  
  • Through your member portal, you can view your plan materials, access a digital Member ID Card, search for in-network doctors, and more.   
  • You will create a secure account to use the portal.  When you create your account, you will first set up an EntryKey ID. This is an extra layer of security that uses two-step verification with your email and password.
